3 min readReviewed by Dr. Mona El Sayed

Daily sunscreen helps protect your skin from sun damage and dark spots.

The basics

  • Use SPF 30 or higher
  • Apply enough to cover your face and neck
  • Reapply every 2–3 hours when you're outside

If you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, ask your dermatologist which type suits you.
